How do I know if I need a centerset or widespread faucet?
There are two standard bathroom sinks. If you measure the distance between the centers of the outside holes (or the centers of the handles if there is a faucet installed), for sinks in most small bathrooms they are about 4 inches apart, while in larger bathrooms they are about 8 inches apart. If the holes in your sink are 4 inches apart, you need a Centerset or Mini-Widespread. If they are about 8 inches apart, you need a Widespread.
